My intention was to photograph great blue herons along Dugualish Bay Road, but as I sat waiting for the perfect shot, these three little charachters landed in the bush right in front of me. Turned out to be one of the best shots of the day. Here is my gouache painting of the three entertaining sparrows sitting in a wintertime blackberry bush along Dugualish Bay Road.
